(WILLIAM MCKINLEY ASSASSINATION)
A fine set of relics and ephemera related to the assassination and funeral of William McKinley including a 1" x 3" swatch of black felt mounted to a card which has been identified "Cloth from covering of President McKinley Casket whe[n] he lay in state at capitol, Washington"; a 1" x 1" swatch of black felt affixed to a 3" x 5" card identified as "Engine No. 66 A piece of the drapery that decorated the engine of the McKinley funeral train". The group also includes a printed pass to McKinley's funeral services at the U.S. Capitol, a pass to cross the police lines during the funeral services in Washington (with original black-bordered envelope), as well as a admission ticket for a memorial service at Westminster Abbey, Sept. 19, 1901. Together, five pieces in very good condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
