WILLIAM MCKINLEY AND THEODORE ROOSEVELT
A spectacular S.P. 16" x 11 1/2" sepia portrait by Pach Brothers, N.Y. (1900) of McKinley and Roosevelt seated in a garden at the White House. Boldly signed by each: "William McKinley" and "Theodore Roosevelt" toward the lower margin. A great rarity, we have never seen an signed example of this very well known Pach Brothers photograph before! Nicely framed and in very fine condition. Not examined out of frame. Offered together with a 1901 mourning broadside featuring a bust portrait of McKinley, 1p. large folio, printed by Kurz & Allison, Chicago with the legend printed at bottom "BORN JANUARY 29th 1843. ELECTED PRESIDENT 1896. DIED SEPT.14th 1901.". Matted and framed and in fine condition. Ex Harold C. Brooks Collection.
