Description:

WILLIAM HENRY HARRISON & ANNA HARRISON
Rare manuscript D.S. signed by both WILLIAM HENRY HARRISON and future First Lady ANNA HARRISON, 1p. folio, Hamilton Co., Ohio, June 11, 1826, a deed issued by the Harrisons to their son William Henry Harrison, Jr., Nicholas Longworth and Francis Carr and tenants in common pertaining to twelve acres of land on the Ohio River, boldly signed "W. H. Harrison" and "Anna Harrison" at bottom. Some paper wear along one fold and some negligible wear at margins, a few trivial age spots, else very good. Harrison, Jr., only five years old at the time and later an attorney, would die at the age of 37. Undoubtedly, Longworth and Carr were named to work the land for the young child. This is the first document signed by both Harrisons we've encountered.
