William H. Morris 1827-1900 Union brigadier general who fought in the Peninsula, and led a brigade at Bristoe, Mine Run, and Spotsylvania, where he was severely wounded. War date D.S., 1p. folio, Head Quarters , Camp Tennallytown, Jan. 18, 1862, a Consolidated Morning Report indicating all officers and men present for duty, those absent, horses available, and so on. Signed, adding rank. Also signed by Union brigadier general John J. Peck `821-1878
