Description:
New York and member of the House of Representatives (1789-91). Set of two A.D.S.'s on both sides of a 12mo. sheet, [n.p.], the first reading in full: "6 March 1809 Rec'd Jacob Vosburgh the sum of [pounds] 25-0-0 Wm Floyd". On the verso, he writes a promissory note for 18 pounds to himself, obviously on behalf of another party, July 10, 1801, signing "William Floyd" within the text. Removed from a larger document but complete in itself, very good condition.
