WILLIAM F. CODY
(1846 - 1917) "Buffalo Bill", American scout and showman, he started his career as a rider with the Pony Express, and in later years organized and promoted "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show". S.P., "W.F. Cody/ Buffalo Bill 1911", 7 1/2" x 9 1/2", b/w, depicting Cody on his horse wearing his trademark hat, rifle in one hand and saluting with the other. Mounted with considerable wear and silvering to the photograph surface, the signature, while visible has eroded the surface and become white against the backround. In fair to poor condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items are not shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arrange through the auction house.
