WILHELM RITTER VON LEEB
(1876-1956) German field marshal during World War II, fell out of favor with Hitler upon failing to capture Leningrad and relieved of rank in 1942. T.L.S. on his official letterhead as Commander General of the XI Army Corps, 1p. legal folio, Hanover, Apr. 24, 1939, to General of Artillery Franz Barckhausen, in part: "...Thank you for your gracious congratulations upon my promotion to General of Artillery...". Boldly signed and in very good condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry.
