WEST POINT BLOUSE AND PANTS OF COL. FREDERIC C. COOK
The West Point blouse and pants once owned by Cadet (and future Army Colonel ) Frederic C. Cook (1910-2000), both in very good condition with his name penned in the blouse on the neckline label. Cook graduated from the Academy in 1934 and spent 36 years serving his country in the military. Cook, then a captain, was at Pearl Harbor when the base was attacked on Dec. 7, 1941. He assisted in training the 10tth Battalion, the first all-Japanese Nisei battalion. Sent to Italy, the battalion fought with distinction, receiving heavy casualties. He returned to the States in late 1942 and served in occupied Japan at war's end. Cook also commanded NATO forced in Austria and served in Iran, retiring in 1964. With biography. From the personal collection of World War II and Civil War historian Michael Miner. Miner's thirty-year collection was built through an extensive system of contacts he developed with artifact hunters and diggers in Europe and the Far East, and he maintained careful records of the items he amassed.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
