WALTHER P38 BOX AND HOLSTER
Black-finished pigskin holster, approx. 9 1/4" x 6", as used with the 9mm Walther P38 pistol, the standard sidearm of the German Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS during World War II. The holster is fitted with a pouch for a spare magazine, with a smaller compartment for a takedown tool (not present) sewn into the flap. The holster shows no markings, with expected wear to the leather overall, else very good, Sold with a brown paperboard box, 9 1/4" x 6 1/4", the original sales carton for a P38. The edge of the carton bears a paper label identifying the manufacturer, Walther, and the model and serial number of the weapon it once contained (not present). The carton does contain an original cleaning rod and a magazine marked "P1", the postwar designation of the P38 in Bundeswehr service, as well as a bundle of cleaning patches. The box shows expected external wear, else very good. Also present are a pair of red-brown plastic P-38 grips, likely post-war, both internally marked "W-11".

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
