Description:

WALTHER FUNK
(1890 - 1960) Nazi Minister of Economics who confiscated goods of imprisoned Jews to the Reichsbank via Himmler. Sentenced to life imprisonment. Lengthy and important A.Ms.S. in pencil,. 5pp. legal folio, [Nuremburg, 1946], a fascinating autobiographical account prepared by Funk for his attorneys to aid in his defense. Funk briefly sketches his family background, education, and at much greater length his involvement in the Nazi Party and role in the various positions he held during Hitler's dictatorship. Signed at top of first page and again at conclusion. Certainly fine content and truly worthy of full translation. Light offsetting to edges, very good condition.
