Description:

WALT DISNEY-SIGNED "RED WAGON INN" MENU
(1901 - 1966) American artist, film producer and businessman, creator of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, producer of the first animated film with sound, builder of theme parks in Anaheim and Orlando. Rare, bold blue-pen signature with superb association, "Walt Disney" penned vertically on the left-hand side of an original "Menu For Young Americans" children-under-12 from Disneyland's iconic Red Wagon Inn restaurant. The Red Wagon Inn, present in Anaheim from Disneyland's inception and run by Swift Foods as an operating participant, was known to be Disney's favorite park eatery. The Inn was the first to serve full-course meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Children ordering off this menu could try the "Snow White", "Casey Jr.", "Pluto", "Lady and the Tramp", or "Mostro" meal. Very good with minor folds and several pieces of archival tape to the menu's right, none affecting signature.
