Description:

WALRUS TUSK CRIBBAGE BOARDS
Pair of walrus tusk cribbage boards carved by Inuit artists, both ca. 1950s, the first 15 1/2" long bearing the head of a snow eagle at the wider end, with two carved moose heads opposite. The board rests upon the bodies of two carved seals and it is accented in blue ink. Three pegs are included. The second board, 15 1/2" long, bears high relief images of a seal and perhaps two wolves at opposite ends of the board. Lacking two support legs. Overall very good.
