Description:

Soviet politician, a staunch supporter of Stalin who served as Prime Minister and later as Stalin's commissar of foreign affairs, served as the Soviet spokesman at Tehran, Yalta, Potsdam and San Francisco. A.E.S. on a T.L.S. 1p.4to., "Top Secret", Moscow, Oct. 13, 1933, in which a lesser official writes to Molotov regarding concessions given by the Soviet Union to Foreign companies. In blue pencil, Molotov writes at top: "I canÕt make sense of any of this, but it is urgent that this matter be referred to the Central Committee and the Council of People's Commissars". Punch holes at left from being filed in a folder, otherwise very good.
