VIETNAM WAR MARINE FORCE RECONNAISSANCE GROUPING
Good group of four items related to the Vietnam War service of Staff Sergeant Mike Hall, a member of the U.S. Marine Corp''s Force Reconnaissance (FORECON), includes: embroidered insignia cut from a camouflage-pattern shirt, 4 3/4" x 1 1/2", combining a skull and crossbones with a Marine "jump wings" insignia, most likely made in-theater by a Vietnamese craftsman; U.S.M.C. Parachutist Badge, approx. 2 3/4" x 3/4", marked on the reverse with the gold content and the serial number "678, and also with the incised initial "H" (for "Hall); and a U.S. Army and Air Force Senior Parachutist Badge, approx. 1 1/2" x 1", with the "eagle, globe and anchor" insignia of the U.S.M.C. applied at center and marked "N.S. Meyer, Inc. New York" on the reverse. Three pieces, all very good. Also present is a U.S.M.C. Mark 2 "Ka-Bar" fighting knife, 7" blade, 12" overall, marked "USMC" on the obverse of the tang, with "Ka-Bar Olean, N.Y." on the reverse. The pommel is 3/8" thick and pinned to the tang at the edges, indicating manufacture in the 1970''s-80''s.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
