A fine collection of 18 British sweetheart brooches from World War II. Includes: a partly enameled 2.25 x .75 in. brooch marked ‘SILVER' and a small ‘B', an incredibly small .75 x .25 in. gold-plated RCAF brooch, a gold-plated 1.5 x .5 in. brooch marked ‘OFFICIAL BUNDLES FOR BRITAIN BY MONET' with missing enamel, a 1.75 x .5 in. gold-toned brooch with navy blue, red, and sky-blue paint and a simple engraving on the reverse, ‘H/E', a 2.25 x .5 in. gold-toned brooch with navy blue and red enamel, a 2.25 x .75 in. silver brooch with beautiful blue and red enamel on the text along with the mark ‘STERLING' on the reverse with an indecipherable mark, a 2 x .5 in. brooch which retains some of the original enamel, along with a rubies in a diamond pattern, , a tie clip, 2.5 x .5 in., made from a brooch engraved with ‘OFFICIAL BUNDLES OF BRITAIN BY MONET', a small .75 x .25 in. screw back brooch with ‘OFFICIAL BUNDLES FOR BRITAIN MONET' engraved on the reverse, a 1.5 x .5 in. brooch with red and blue enamel and ‘OFFICIAL BUNDLES FOR BRITAIN BY MONET' engraved on the reverse, a 1.5 x .5 in. enameled silver brooch with the engraving ‘Silver' and the original attachment device, a 2 x .75 in. fully enameled silver brooch with ‘Silver' engraved on the reverse, a 2 x .75 in. silver plated jewel encrusted brooch, a 1.25 x .25 in. silver brooch, a 1.75 x .50 brooch with all of its original enamel with a marking to the reverse which reads ‘SILVER', a 1.25 x .5 in. gold brooch which retained most of its enamel for the British War Relief Society, as indicated by the acronym ‘BWRS' on the obverse and the stamp ‘OFFICIAL B.W.R.S. PAT. APL'D FOR BY ACC…CRAFT' on the reverse, a small 1 x .5 in. fully enameled screw-back brooch, gold toned, and a 2 x .75 in. brooch with some missing and cracked enamel made of gilded brass. 18 pieces, very good.

Due to complications from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will ship with USPS Priority Mail only if the buyer submits their request to us in writing and accepts responsibility for delayed shipments. Signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
