A.D.S. in pencil at the bottom of a T.L.S. from lawyer Charles Henry Butler (1859-1940), the tenth reporter of decisions of the Supreme Court, serving from 1902 to 1916, 1p. 4to., Washington, June 16, 1913. Butler sends the "Denver Water Company case" and asks for suggestions and corrections. At bottom Van Devanter replies: "Thank you. Here it is.
