Description:

UNITED JEWISH SOCIALIST WORKERS BROADSIDE FROM 1917
An excessively rare World War I era broadside from Ukraine, 28" x 22", dated Nov. 4, 1917, announcing a meeting of the United Jewish Socialist Workers' party and printed in both Ukraine and Yiddish. The United Jewish Socialist Party was a short-lived revolutionary effort, founded in June 1917 through the union of the Zionist Social Workers' Party and the Jewish Socialist Workers' Party, who revived after the February Revolution. The party supported the autonomy of the Jewish community and the creation of a secular Jewish community. Folds, a few splits, but overall very good condition.
