Good lot of three cut signatures of Union generals of the Civil War, includes: JOHN E. WOOL (1784-1869) Union major general, the oldest on either side of the conflict, who fought off the Confederates at Fort Monroe and occupied Norfolk. Signature in black ink on a 3 1/2" x 3/4" slip cut from a document. Affixed to a larger card, very good. WITH: JAMES H. WILSON (1837-1925) Union brigadier general of cavalry who fought with Sheridan at Yellow Tavern and Petersburg, captured Jefferson Davis after his flight from Richmond. Bold signature in black ink on a 3 1/2" x 2" card, adding "Maj. Gen. Vols. Comdg. Cavly. Corps M.D.M." Very good. WITH: TRUMAN SEYMOUR (1824-1891) Union brigadier general who served from Fort Sumter to Sayler's Creek, at one point captured and placed under the guns at Charleston. Bold signature "T. Seymour" in black ink, adding his rank "Brig-General U.S. Vols." Accompanied by a period 2" x 3 1/2" b/w albumen photo portrait of Seymour, likely removed from a carte de visite. Very good. Three pieces.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made.
