BINGHAM (1831-1909), E.S. in black ink dated Sep. 12, 1862, on the verso of a partly-printed D.S., 1p. 4to., Nashville, discharging a Sgt. Zebina F. Rawsin for disability. Shows original folds and one spot of light soiling, else very good. WITH: JOHN C. BLACK (1839-1915), manuscript L.S. as U.S. Commissioner of Pensions, 1p. 4to., Washington, D.C., Nov. 2, 1885, to attorney George Heiner, requesting additional documentation for a miner's pension claim. He signs at the conclusion in black ink. Shows a large interior tear repaired on the verso with cello tape, else very good. WITH: AMOS BECKWITH (1825-1894), manuscript L.S., 1p. 4to., Washington, D.C., July 27, 1861, to Col. J.P. Taylor, requesting that a Capt. DuBarry at Harrisburg be allowed to receive all cattle earmarked for Beckwith's command. He signs at the conclusion in black ink. Shows original mailing folds, else very good.
