Description:

U.S.M.C. KA-BAR COMBAT KNIVES
Good group of three United States marine Corps Mark II combat knives, better known by the colloquial name "Ka-Bar" after their most notable manufacturer, includes: Mark II combat knife, 7" blade, 12" overall, with a bright blade and black leather washers making up the grip. The ricasso is maker-marked "U.S. Camillus". The scabbard is of black leather, reinforced by seven rivets, and a braided cord leg tie has been fitted at the tip. On the reverse of the scabbard, a previous owner has cared the inscription: "USMC 1970 Viet Nem [sic]". The blade appears to have been lightly sharpened, and the leather grip and the scabbard shows obvious wear from use, with some slight verdigris to the rivets, else very good. WITH: Mark II combat knife, 7" blade, 12" overall, with a blued blade and brown leather washers making up the grip. The ricasso is marked "U.S.M.C.", while the reverse ricasso is maker-marked "Camillus, N.Y." The scabbard is of brown leather, and is unmarked. The blade appears unsharpened, with some fading to the bluing, while the scabbard shows obvious use from wear, and the grip shows some splitting to the washers near the blade, else very good. WITH: Modern commemorative production Mark II combat knife, 7" blade, 12" overall, with a black Parkerized blade and treated brown leather washers making up the grip. The ricasso is maker-marked "Ka-Bar Olean, N.Y.", while the reverse ricasso is marked "USMC". The scabbard is of brown leather and is stamped with the Marine Corps insignia, as well as "Ka-Bar" and "USMC". Very good. Three pieces.
