T.L.S., 1p. 4to., San Francisco, Sep. 16, 1932, to California congressman Henry E. Barbour, congratulating his correspondent on his primary election victory. He signs at the conclusion in black ink. Shows mild toning and a punch cancellation at top left, else very good. WITH: EWING E. BOOTH (1879-1949) commander of the 8th Infantry Brigade at the Marne, St. Mihiel, and the Meuse -Argonne in Word War I. T.L.S., 2pp. 8vo., Manila, March 6, 1933, to Henry E. Barbour, commending Barbour's work on national defense appropriations. He signs at the conclusion in black ink. Shows a fold and file holes to the left edge, else very good. WITH: ALBERT J. BOWLEY (1875-1945) Lieutenant General who served in the Mexican Expedition and World War I, and greatly expanded Fort Bragg. T.L.S., 1p. 4to., Honolulu, Sep. 16, 1932, to Henry E. Barbour, expressing his congratulations at Barbour's winning of the Republican nomination. He signs at the conclusion in black ink. Shows original mailing folds and a punch cancellation at top left, else very good. WITH: CLARENCE C. WILLIAMS (1869-1958) U.S. Army Chief of Ordnance. T.L.S., 1p. 4to., Washington, D.C., Dec. 31, 1928, to Henry E. Barbour, transmitting information concerning an estimate for the cost of rebuilding a "Cannon Blender Unit" at the Picatinny Arsenal, which was destroyed by fire.
