303. JOHN TYLER A fine association manuscript D.S., a sight draft written and signed by his brother WAT H. TYLER (1788-1862), Richmond, Apr. 16, 1833, in which Wat Tyler promises to pay to John's order the sum of $1,000 within sixty days at the Bank of the United States. On verso John Tyler endorses the draft: "John Tyler". The verso bears (unnecessary) archival tape reinforcement of the slit cancellation of the draft, none of which affects Tyler's signature, and the tape could be easily soaked-off, else very good condition. $300 - 400
