In part: "...On returned records no accounts kept so that we deduct the unsalable from Artist royalty so as not to pay royalty twice...". Along with the original rejoinder from Buchanan, 1p. 4to., replying that Edison received "......All [underlines] records returned on which Artists royalty has been paid, are listed......Buchanan 9-14-23". Evenly toned, very good.
