Description:

STENIO VINCENT
(1874-1959) President of Haiti from 1930-1941. His presidency dealt with the 1937 Parsley Massacre. Rare Head of State document, 1p., folio, Port-au-Prince, April 27, 1939, a letter introducing Turenne J. Carrie to Peruvian President Oscar Benavides. Boldly signed, "Stenio Vincent" in black ink, with a fine official seal. Countersigned by LEON LALEAU as Foreign Minister. Soiling mark at to left, slight toning throughout, and minor central folds, very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
