Fine Waffen-SS document group of six items including awards, etc. given to SS-Sturmann Hans Ambrosius, a member of SS-Panzer Grenadier Rgt. 6 "Theodor Eicke" Included is: award certificate for the Panzer Assault Badge in Bronze while with "Company Schroeder, II./SS-Eicke", 1p. 8vo., July 18, 1943, signed by SS-Standartenführer and Regt. Commander HELLMUTH BECKER (1902–1953); award certificate for the Wounded Badge in Black, as a member of Co. Schröder - II./SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt. "E", Aug. 15, 1943; award certificate for the Iron Cross, 2nd Class, as SS-Panzer-Grenadier of the 5th / SS-Panzer Gren. Rgt. 6 "Theodor Eicke", Mar. 6, 1944, signed by SS-Brigadeführer and Major-General of the Waffen-SS HERMANN PREISS (1901–1985); award certificate for the Wound Badge in Silver, for his three wounds, issued in Glatz, June 15, 1944; certificate of participation in "Nahkampf/Sturmtagen" ("Melee/Storm Days") of combat, Mar. 10 - Apr. 26, 194, issued July 5, 1944; letter of promotion to SS-Sturmann, July 5, 1944. Overall the documents, representing a hard-fighting group of Russian Front veterans, are in fine condition. HELLMUTH BECKER led the 36th SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment, SS Division Reichsführer-SS and the SS Division Totenkopf, and was a recipient of the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves. Post-war, Becker was handed over to the Soviets, tried for war crimes, and was executed in 1953. HERMANN PREISS was a general of the Waffen-SS, commanded the SS Division Totenkopf after Eicke's death, then commanded the I SS Panzer Corps and led it during the Battle of the Bulge. Convicted of war crimes for his involvement in the Malmedy massacre, we was turned over to the Soviets for trial and execution. A recipient of the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
