SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR MARINES An interesting group of three tintypes measuring approx. 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", depicting Marines Corps soldiers during the Spanish-American War. Posed in full uniform, the soldiers are seated before photographic backdrops, one of which quirkily shows a palm tree! Usual crazing with some light emulsion loss at corners and edges, overall very good condition. An unusual lot, worthy of further research.
