EDWARD ROWLAND SILL (1841-1887), American poet best known for "The Venus of Milo," "The Fool's Prayer" and others in a career cut short by an early demise. Exceedingly rare autograph manuscript document, a souvenir copy of one of his most famous poems "To Face a Concert", all 14 lines, boldly signed at conclusion, "E.R. Sill" adding "Cuyahoga Falls, O., Feb. 8, Ô83". Top left corner just slightly ragged, some wrinkling and dealers notes, otherwise good. $300-350
