471. PAUL SIGNAC (1863-1935) French Impressionist painter, with Seurat a developer of Pointillism and a principal Neo-Impressionist, known for his watercolors of landscapes and seascapes. Fine association A.L.S. "P. Signac" on the verso of a postcard, Paris, Dec. 27, 1908 to a Mr. Deman, an editor of art books in Brussels, in French. Signac requests that he be sent a copy of "The Water Colour Drawings of [Joseph M. W.] Turner", adding: "What other books of Turner do you have?" File holes at left margin affect salutation, else very good. $400-500
