Shekel Of Tyre A silver Shekel of Tyre with "KP" Jerusalem mint mark dating from the time of the crucifixion of Christ. This coin is of the type mentioned in the "thirty pieces of silver" paid to Judas, it has a 1in diameter with a head of Melquarth on obverse, and an eagle with the motto "Of Tyre the holy and inviolable" on the reverse. Obverse slightly off-center, otherwise fine.
