Rare intelligence report issued by Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force, Office of Assistant Chief of Staff, marked "SECRET" and numbered, a weekly report issued for the week ending Feb. 18, 1944. The 24pp. legal folio printing, issued under the name of Gen. K. W. D. Strong, includes three detailed situation maps, including a very large map: "Enemy Order of Battle on the Western Front" graphically displaying the concerted Allied drive on the Rhine, "Enemy Order of Battle in Koln", and the situation on the Eastern Front where the Soviets have trapped German forces in the Kurland pocket and have closed within miles of Berlin. The text includes mention of "violent resistance" in the area of Danzig, the weakening situation in the west with ever-shrinking German strength, the fortification of Berlin, intercepts of reports and announcements by German military leaders, German air activity over Allied controlled territory, and much more. Some soiling, covers a bit worn, overall very good.
