Description:

(b. 1944) Long-time member of the Manson Family and a close friend of Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme. Good was in jail with Mary Brunner for attempting to use stolen credit cards when the Tate/La Bianca murders took place, but was arrested at Spahn Ranch during the August 16th raid. In 1975 Good was sentenced to 15 years for sending death threats, and was paroled in 1985. Fine content typed letter (unsigned) to CHARLES MANSON, with transmittal envelope addressed to Manson at Vacaville and signed in full by Good in the return address area, 4pp. 4to., Alderson, WV, Jan. 18, 1980. Much fine content in this rambling letter, in part: '...Charlie, Im tripping out on the Polish Priest...I received from him a photo of the Pope...[He] seems to be telling me how much others love him...so that I will love him...he just seems to think I have a tremendous need for love. He's starting to make me mad...maybe you will give me an insight into his chamber...' She mentions a fellow prisoner with a boyfriend named 'Blue' who: 'sent some guy to take care of a guy harassing Gypsy...the harasser was slashing the tires on Gypsy's car and Kenny told Blue and Blue sent someone to beat the guy up...There seems to be nothing you can tell these millions of people unless one could prove you are the bibles version of J[esus]. C[hrist]. come back...Paul McCartney got busted in Tokyo Japan with weed...do you think the 2 photos of Red [Lynette Fromme] in the red hat...are terrible...she feels those pictures are terrible...Some of the officers are my favorite people here...' The cover of the envelope bears a swastika and two German Crosses, undoubtedly sketched by Manson himself. Fine condition.
