SANDRA GOOD WRITES TO CHARLES MANSON
SANDRA GOOD (b. 1944) A long-time member of the Manson Family and a close friend of Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme. Good was in jail with Mary Brunner for attempting to use stolen credit cards when the Tate/La Bianca murders took place but was arrested at Spahn Ranch during the August 16th raid. In 1975 Good was sentenced to 15 years for sending death threats and was paroled in 1985. A.L.S. 'Blue', 8pp. 4to., Alderson, January 9, 1980, to Charles Manson discussing a recent correspondence she had with a priest. In part: '...Enclosed is a letter from a Jesuit priest who started writing us in 1976. We wrote him some mean letters and we didn't hear from him until recently...The guy is Polish and says he was ordained before the Pope...He's now about 78 years old...He always responds how I am an ocean of strength, beauty, etc. He is reserved about mentioning you...I'm on top of him mentioning my money brain...I don't lie to this priest I tell him how I feel...I think he is still horney, but he would never admit it...You write to Roy about someone in Boston. I'll send to Ava to check out...I don't understand how that relates to the corner, nor do I see [swastika] how that relates to J.F.K. coverup...Why are the Russians invading Afghanistan...The country is beautiful..I've not been up on the news...' Accompanied by the letter mentioned by Good sent to her by a priest which she annotates in her own hand. Also with a hand addressed envelope. Fine condition.
