Description:

(b. 1944) A long-time member of the Manson Family and a close friend of Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme. Good was in jail with Mary Brunner for attempting to use stolen credit cards when the Tate/La Bianca murders took place but was arrested at Spahn Ranch during the August 16th raid. In 1975 Good was sentenced to 15 years for sending death threats and was paroled in 1985. A.L.S 'Blue', 3pp. 4to., [n.p.], 'Nov. 26' [n.y.], to Charles Manson. In part: '...I'm listening to the tape you sent right now. Its nice! It’s a lot of pieces I've liked for a long time. I'm so tripped out on Iran. 10 years ago in the desert at Myers house we took some acid. I don’t think you were there, but the words 'Chase Manhattan Bank' kept going through my head. I wondered what it meant...I knew it would mean something. I've just been reading and hearing that Henry Kissinger and David Rockefeller are the two who put pressure on the administration to allow the Shah to stay in the U.S. Rockefeller is the president of Chase Manhattan Bank...Someone told me they heard on the radio that you were going to the Parole Board. I got the feeling if you do you'll talk about Iran. They should let you sit down with Khomeini. What if he decides he's gonna have his world right or not at all....I got a piece of an article...I've made out enough of it to see little Larry was involved in some kind of jailbreak in Seattle Washington...It said he was a one time member of the family...A black girl just gave me fine red scarf to give Red for Christmas...She is one of the very few that acts like a convict and shows a little class. It's strange but after people see Helter Skelter I got a new kind of respect for some [black people], and very little B.S vibes from others.' Fine condition. From a grouping of Manson's letters in the estate of his biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote 'Manson in His Own Words'.
