Lot of five items related to the early Salvation Army, includes: WILLIAM BOOTH (1829-1912) Founder of the Salvation Army and its first General, S.P., 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" b/w, a chest-up view of Booth in his Salvation Army uniform. Mounted on a piece of cardboard, ink stain affecting the "...ll..." of the signature, else very good. WITH: WILLIAM BOOTH, A.N.S. 1p. 4 1/2" x 3 1/2", [n.p.], Feb. 12, 1907, on a light blue greeting card, in full: "Yours in the service of the King of Kings on behalf of the true helpers of the sons and daughters of men." Mounted on a 7 1/4" x 4 3/4" card, on the verso of which is a similar greeting card signed by an unknown person. Minor foxing, else very good. WITH: EVANGELINE BOOTH (1865-1950) Daughter of William and the fourth General of the Salvation Army, signed greeting card, 3" x 4 1/2", with the printed message, in full: "With God there is no postponement either of His mercies, His salvation, or His grace. They are all for to-day" Signed at the bottom in black ink, very good. WITH: Circular portrait of Evangeline Booth, 3 1/4", trimmed from a German publication. Very good. WITH: T.L.S. on Salvation Army letterhead, in German, 1p. 4to., London, Jan. 8, 1936, transmitting a greeting card signed by Evangeline Booth. Signed by an adjutant "C. Becker". Split at folds, repaired on the verso with cello tape, else very good.
