SACHENHAUSEN CONCENTRATION CAMP LETTERS
A collection of four letters by Hermann O. Schulze, a member of the Communist Party in Eisenach. He was first arrested in 1933 but released after a month only to be arrested again in 1935 and then interned in Sachenhausen from 1937 to 1944. In late 1944 he was taken in to the 'Dirlewanger Brigade' an anti-partisan unit under the control of the SS, that consisted of criminal and political prisoners. He was captured on the Eastern front in 1945 and was released from a Russian P.O.W. camp in 1946. The letters, all A.L.S.'s date between 1941 and 1942 and are accomplished on Sachenhausen letterhead, not translated. Some glue remnants at top margins, else very good condition. Together, four pieces.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
