RUFUS BRATTON-CAPTURED NAZI DOCUMENTS
Superb collection of relics from the archive of Colonel Rufus Bratton, the Army infantry and intelligence officer whose work as Far East Section Chief of Military Intelligence and actions during the Pearl Harbor attack were fictionalized in the movie Tora Tora Tora: a grouping of various stationery and other documents Bratton took from Nazi offices while serving as Headquarters Commandant in Patton's Third Army, then occupying Berlin. Included is a 4" x 6" red "Ausweis" card, a stamped and signed pass for crossing German lines, a blank piece of 4to. stationery from the offices of Gestapo-head HEINRICH MULLER, and a decorative SS award for excellent shooting proficiency dated Oct. 22, 1938, stamped and signed. Also included is a yellow "Death's Head" banner measuring 4" x 5", blank letterhead for "Der Reichsfuhrer--SS", "Der Chef der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD" and "Kanzlei des Fuhrers der NSDAP",

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
