Description:

ROUND TOP RELIC CANE
A fine relic from the Gettysburg battlefield, a 36" pyro-designed cane with 8 1/2" bark-covered knobbed top, stamped "Gettysburg July1-2-3 1863 Wood from Round Top" near the top. This cane was likely carved by a veteran on the battlefield as a souvenir, ca. 1880's. Very good to fine. The Round Tops were, of course, the scene of some of the hardest fighting of the three-day battle.
