Description:

Canadian Ross Rifle Company Model 1912, 21 in. barrel, 39.5 in. long overall, .22-caliber, a single-shot cadet training rifle. The top of the receiver is marked "Ross Rifle Company, Canada, 1912" over "Patented", with a small "crown C" proof mark. Additional proof marks appear on the rear of the barrel, with the serial number "14594". The metal components are rust-blued overall and show minor wear to the finish. The action functions as intended, although the ejector is missing. The stock is also marked with a "crown over C" proof mark, and shows handling marks overall. As with many examples of this rifle, the wrist shows a tightly repaired crack. The bore is very bright and shows no apparent pitting, with sharp rifling and a well-defined crown. NRA grade very good. Estimated accordingly. All firearms purchases must be completed through a Federal Firearms License holder, and the purchaser is responsible for all associated fees. No shipping outside of the United States.

Shipments are sent via USPS Priority, USPS International Priority, FedEx and DHL (for most overseas shipments) or FedEx Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature is always required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling and shipping charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight. Customers who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
