ROCK & ROLL LEGENDSOutstanding lot of two items signed by legends who gained entrance to the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame, includes: PHIL SPECTOR, the genius who created the Wall of Sound but also wrote such classic songs as "Spanish Harlem" and "To Know him is to Love Him", a 10" drum head, boldly signed with his circular signature c. 1965, set into a custom made shadow-box frame along with a 8" x 10" b/w photograph and identification plaque, framed to 20" x 27" and housed behind Plexiglas. Together with BERNIE TAUPIN, long time friend and collaborator with Elton John, creator of such rock classics as "Saturday Night" and "Rocket Man", partly-printed D.S., a check drawn on his special music petty cash account, Feb. 13, 1978, boldly signed in ball point pen on recto: "B. TAUPIN". Framed with a 6" x 9", b/w photograph , double matted to 14" x 22", with a plaque name plate. Fine condition, not examined out of frame. Two pieces.
