Robinson" adding rank, penned on the verso of a partly-printed, 1p. legal folio, a pay voucher, [n.p.], July 18, 1863 for Surgeon in Chief Charles J. Nordquist, 2nd Division, 1st Corps Army of the Potomac for June 1863. In part: "...Surgeon Chas. J. Nordquist has been on duty as Med. Director of this Division during the time charged...". Interestingly, Nordquist declares pay for two servants, one of whom is black. Archival tape repairs at folds, else very good. $150 - 200
