ROBERT WOODWARD AND CARL BERNSTEIN
American investigative journalists who worked for The Washington Post as reporters. In 1972, Woodward teamed up with Carl Bernstein and the two did much of the original news reporting of the Watergate scandal. These scandals led to numerous government investigations and the eventual resignation of President Nixon. Lot of three signed items, includes: T.Ms.S. 1p. 8vo., [n.d.], a paragraph from their book, All the President's Men, signed by Woodward in black ink, lightly toned, else very fine. WITH: Printed card, 3.5 x 5.5 in., [n.d.], printed ‘The Washington Post, 1150 15th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 29971' and on verso signed by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, show-through of Woodward signature to recto, also ink smear on ‘The Washi…,' lower right hand corner has a crease, on verso there are 3 brown damp stains, one of which affects the dotted ‘i' in Bernstein, else good; WITH: card, approx. 4 x 6 in., [n.d.], with a newsprint cutout of a photo of Woodward affixed at top, signed by Woodward in black ink; WITH: two newsprint photos cut from a magazine of Woodward and Bernstein as young reporters and Woodward later in life, some creasing, fair. Four pieces.

International shipments are invoiced by DIMENSIONAL weight, not the item weight.
