Robert Welch 1899-1985 American political activist, an isolationist, ultra-conservative who founded the John Birch Society. Signed pamphlet "To the Negroes of America", 10pp. 1967, signed beneath the title. An amazing tract in which Welch states: "Wake up, misguided friends! They really do think you are stupid. Communists are trying to make you hate the present white people of America... rabble rousing pro-Communist criminals... shameless liars like M[artin] L[uther] King, foreign trouble-makers like Stokely Carmichael... you are being deceived...."
