(1892 - 1945) German Field Marshal and later head of the Luftwaffe, a Knights Cross winner. Fearing torture and execution at the hands of his Soviet captors, he took cyanide uttering his final words: "I am the head of the Luftwaffe, but I have no Luftwaffe". War-date D.S., 1p. 8vo., Gefechstand, Aug. 22, 1941 awarding an Iron Cross, 2nd Class to Lt. Teja Zobel. File holes at left, else fine. Sold with a 2" x 3" candid photograph of von Greim, Sperrle, and Hermann Goring reviewing a line of soldiers. Two pieces.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
