A.L.S. 1p. 4to., Belmont, Dec. 20, 1813, to first Secretary of the Continental Congress Charles Thomson, in part: "...Your tenant William Matthews, called on me a Week or 10 Days ago, in Consequence of my advertising my Farms. He appointed this Day...preparatory to closing the Bargain. We have come to an Understanding of the Terms, & I thought I should have Time allowed to call on you, & not only inquire into the Circumstances as they related to the Connexion between you; but to pay Respect to you...I have given Mr. Matthews every Encouragement to depend on a Preference of my Bull (Suplee's) Farm. But I should be sorry...to do anything which would be interfering between him & you...". Very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyer's should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. Customer's who supply their own courier account number will still be charged a handling fee.
