REVOLUTIONARY MERCHANT'S ACCOUNT Manuscript D.S. 1p. folio, [n.p. though probably Philadelphia, n.d. "1777"], an accounting sheet kept by an unknown merchant listing several participants in the war detailing monies forwarded "To Congress's Own Regiment", "Captain Lewis of the Light Horse", "Colonel Procter his Compy .", "Lieutenant Smith of Col. Proctor's Compy.", "To Thomson Quarter Master", "To Captain Downy", "To Colonel Hall of the Delaware Battalion" and others. We surmise that the merchant was involved in papermaking as there are several references to a "bleach ground" and "bleach field". Worthy of further research. Margins chipped, minor fold splits, usual folds, otherwise very good. $100-150
