(REPAIRING DAMAGED MUSKETS)
Manuscript D.S., 1p. legal folio, [Trenton], June 18, 1780 being an "Invoice of Damaged Muskets Sent to Trenton by Capt. Arthur Young Waggon [sic] Master" listing the contents of seven wagons, including the name of the driver and the number of muskets in each. Capt. Young signs at the bottom noting receipt of "… the above six Hundred and Sixty one muskets (Damaged) which I promise to deliver to Colo. Moore Furman D[eputy] Q[uarter] M[aster] Gen[era]l. - to be forwarded to Philadelphia" Marginal wear including minor losses and tears, usual folds, else very good.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made. Handling, shipping and insurance charges will be added to the invoice in one entry. Buyers should be aware that large, framed, fragile or odd shaped items can incur substantial shipping and packing charges. NOTE: Large, heavy or bulky items are not shipped by the auctioneer - arrangements for shipping of these items via a third-party shipper may be arrange through the auction house.
