RELIC OF THE SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS
CHARLES A. LINDBERGH (1902-1974) American aviator who, in his plane, The Spirit of St. Louis, was the first to fly solo non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean. A rare relic, a piece of fabric from The Spirit of St. Louis, taken from the plane during Lindbergh's historic flight from New York to Paris, May 20-21, 1927. The gold-tone fabric measures 1 1/4" x 1/2", and is affixed within a small acetate pocket to a letter of provenance signed by autograph expert Charles Hamilton. Fine condition.

Shipment is sent USPS priority, USPS International Express (for most overseas) or UPS Ground at the auctioneer's option, signature required, unless other arrangements are made.
