Description:

REINHARD HEYDRICH DINNER PLATE
An extraordinary relic, a dinner plate once owned and used by Reinhard Heydrich (1904-1942), the architect of the Final Solution who was slain in a bomb attack by British-trained Czech and Slovak agents. The 10 3/4" dia. plate bears a 1 3/4" very ornate gilt band about the edge, with his initials "R H" at center in large letters, intentionally reminiscent of SS runes. The bottom of the plate bears the name and trademark: "TIRSCHENREUTH BAVARIA". The plate bears just the slightest wear to Heydrich's initials, consistent with perhaps three or four uses, else fine condition. A chilling relic!
