REFORMERS A nice group of six pieces by noted reformers, includes: HORACE GREELEY, two A.L.S. 1p. 8vo., New York, Aug. 28, 1866, sending a recommendation, and another 1p. 8vo., New York, June 4, 1872, illeg.; FRANKLIN BENJAMIN SANBORN, three A.L.S., the first 1p. 8vo., Concord, Dec. 7, 1880, regarding a publication, and the second, Concord, Mar. 21, 1889, regarding funds; the third, 1p. 4to., Oskaloosa, Aug. 13, [1836], regarding travel plans. Along with a T.L.S. by JOHN LEWIS on his Congress of Industrial Organizations, 1p. 4to., Washington, Nov. 8, 1940, to Michael Quill, in part: "...In accordance with the provisions in the constitution I have appointed you a member of the convention Resolutions Committee...". Attached to a memo with the members of the committee attached, rusty paper clip impression at top left. Six pieces, very good. $200-300
