Ray" 1p. 4to., Petros, Tenn., Feb. 11, 1988, concerning his trial and witnesses against him. He writes, in part: "...In respect to Charles Stephens, a cab driver, James McGraw testified in federal court in October 1974 (my HC hearing), that he had a call to pick up Stephens but when he arrived at the flophouse...he found Stephens too drunk to get out of bed. McGraw also testified that when he went into the flophouse to pick up Stephens he observed TWO Mustang[s] parked at the curb-one was mine. Anyway McGraw is the only reliable witness regarding Stephens, I believe Mark got his information form one of the locals who may have been himself a boozer...". More fine content.
